Anjanam (Ayurvedic Eye Care Therapy)
Traditional medicated eye preparations, applied only by trained practitioners.

Anjanam is a traditional Ayurvedic eye care procedure in which a medicated preparation — a fine collyrium or herbal liquid — is applied along the inner lower eyelid. It is classically used for tired, strained or dry-feeling eyes, a common complaint among mothers getting little sleep and spending long hours on night feeds and phone screens.
Because the eyes are delicate, Trayi offers Anjanam only through trained Ayurvedic practitioners, using properly prepared, hygienic preparations and clean applicators for every session. Caregivers do not apply it.
The practitioner first asks about eye conditions, recent surgery, contact lens use and allergies. It is not given with any eye infection, injury, redness of unknown cause or recent eye surgery, and anyone with an eye condition is advised to see an eye doctor first.
The application takes only a few minutes; the mother then rests with closed eyes in a dim, quiet room while any watering settles. It complements, but never replaces, medical eye care. The visit ends with a cup of herbal tea.
