Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Template notice: this policy is a starting draft prepared for a small home-care service and must be reviewed by a qualified legal professional in India before being relied upon.

1. Who we are

Trayi (“Trayi”, “we”, “us”) provides post-delivery, mother-baby and home nursing care services from Dasarahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily contact us. This may include:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number (including your WhatsApp number if you message us there)
  • Your email address, if you write to us by email
  • Details you choose to share about the care required, such as location, timings or recovery needs

This website does not require an account, does not run a database of enquiries, and the enquiry form on our contact section does not store submissions. It only opens WhatsApp or your email application with a message pre-filled, so nothing is transmitted to us until you choose to send it.

3. Purpose of processing

We use the information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, prepare a care plan, and communicate about care you have requested. Where an engagement begins, we may retain limited health-related information shared by you or your family strictly to deliver safe care.

4. Consent

By contacting Trayi by phone, WhatsApp or email, you consent to us processing the personal data you share for the purposes described above. Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to trayipostdlvrcare@gmail.com; we will then stop processing your data except where retention is required by law.

5. No sale of data; limited sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. Information is shared internally only with the caregiver and supervisor assigned to you, and with third parties only where legally required.

6. Retention and security

Enquiry information is retained only as long as needed to respond or serve an active engagement, and is deleted thereafter unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. We apply reasonable organisational safeguards, including restricting access to the personnel who need it.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request:

  • Access to a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data where processing is no longer needed
  • Withdrawal of consent previously given
  • Grievance redressal in respect of how we handled your data

8. Third-party services

Our contact section embeds a Google Maps frame and links to WhatsApp. When you interact with these, the respective provider’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

9. Children’s data

Where care involves a newborn or child, information about them is provided by a parent or lawful guardian and is used only for delivering the requested care.

10. Contact for data requests

For any privacy question, consent withdrawal or data-related request, write to trayipostdlvrcare@gmail.com or call +91 74839 20422. We aim to respond within a reasonable period.
