Post-Delivery and Mother-Baby Care

Postpartum Body Massage and Relaxation Therapy

Traditional-style oil massage and assisted bathing to ease aches and stiffness.

Postpartum massage is the part of Indian postnatal tradition most mothers ask for by name, and it deserves to be done carefully rather than quickly. Our caregivers use warm oil and slow, moderate-pressure strokes over the back, shoulders, arms, legs and feet to relieve the stiffness that builds from long hours of feeding, carrying and broken sleep, followed by an assisted warm bath and a quiet rest.

It suits mothers cleared by their doctor for massage, typically from the second week after a normal delivery, and later or with modified handling after a caesarean. Mothers with high blood pressure, clotting concerns or unhealed wounds are massaged only with medical clearance, and the abdomen is never worked on without it.

A session runs roughly forty-five to sixty minutes, usually scheduled while the baby is asleep or being watched by someone else, and finishes with hydration and a short recovery period rather than an immediate return to chores.

Trayi's approach is deliberately conservative: no binding claims about shrinking or reshaping the body, no forced pressure, and an honest note in the plan about how many sessions typically help.
